Sorry Dhark, you wanted an explaination? Here. he and his friend, go to some cave. They think noone's been there before, his friend had an accident. (his friend had the accident a long time ago, and he "wasn't going to be able to walk" and then some sob sucess story happens) yadda yadda yadda, some stupid stuff happens. He and his friend get into the cave, and try to open a hole so they can go farther into it. It takes them a long time. Then they leave, go get dinner and some other crap. Pictures don't work. His story was odd. Rumbling of trucks, and a few other things I can barely recall. There's a link. Read it. They used a cordless drill, and then a bullpin and hammer of some-sort to try and open the hole, switching off when they broke into sweats.

It's scary enough at 4PM. Right now he's just met Satan and is waiting for his friend to climb up the rope.

By the way, the site is a few years old and is mirrored on that site (it's not the original) which explains why the pics dont work. I have seen them before though, and I can vouch they are real)

OK now thats REALLY freaking me out. Its now 1:15 in the morning. I have read 10 pages of this mindfuck of a story.

Overview, this in no way does justice to teh freakout factor.

It starts out with a cave and his "crippled" friend. They find a cave hole that they then widen to explore deeper. It takes a long time, the hole emits wind and occasionaly sound, such as rocks sliding togather like a rock door rolling back, or a low rumble. At one point a horid scream is let out, they continue anyhow. The bring a third person along so that there is now two able bodied people going to explore the cave. Problem is the storyteller hits his head and cannot continue, the third guy does. His alloted exporation time elapses and he comes back in a hurry. After this he is not heard from for quite some time, at least a month. So they go back after 2 weeks and the storyteller goes into the cave. He gets to the room with a large bolder and then past it. The sound of moving rock, he goes back to find the large bolder moved convieniently cutting off his phone to his friend. He goes into the new hole and some wierd stuff happens. He runs as fast as he can out of the cave. Gets to the hole they drilled, crawls out, and as they ascend up and out of the mouth of the cave something is causing the rope to be taunt. He says something was pulling on the rope and I am obliged to agree with him. Reason: The got to the tree the rope was tied to and they cut the rope. It WHIPS accross the ground, not slides, not skids, but goes at a very quick pace as if something was pulling on it. Well needless to say this guys fucked in the head. Doesnt leave his house save for his drugs and to buy a gun for 3 weeks. The tenth page describes how he is goign to venture back into the tomb assumably for some closure...

Now as I said befor I have read 10 pages of this story. I would love to continue but the last page is missing...

Did anyone else read page 11? Is it just an ISP problem? Or is it he never made it back to write page 11. WTF! How am I supposed to get to sleep now!?!

Edit: Just noticed that there is no page 11. It ends there. Site says last updated May Fifth 2001. Witch coincides with the last pages update. So I guess hes dead or someone is playing a reall elaborate joke.

It's the one at the bottom, a shortened version of the full book but the end is pretty good.

Actually it was in an ancient entity that was going around for a few hundred years feeding until it went back to hibernating. It says it's an old 'native' American myth in the book.

in which book, the one this guy ripped his story off of? or in his, in his it mentions something like that yes, but never actually says thats what it was
