It is really annoying that BFRs cant share a keymap. I want my jumpjets to be my right mouse button, but if I do that, no weapon mode switching on my grunts. I want my run mode for infantry, MAX, and BFRs to be the delete key on the keypad. I want to map runmode once and work for items that use runmode.
Hopefully they will fix this at some point |

well, i think nc's is best so far. I can't say much because when i played with my tr one some suppressor n00b managed to empty my entire inventory, and my vs got totally pwned by prowlers. NC's hammer is way overpowered though... takes 2 hits to kill a rexo grunt at a really long range

the Hammer is a Jackhammer on Crack, Roids, Pot, Roids, And Roids. I shot an Agile at full health once, and he died, two hits on a Rexo. And, the NC ant tank weapon Owns when you get inside the enemy BFR shields, as it has no splash damage and you dont damage yourself.
ok, here is my whole analysis of the BFRs right now. NC BFRS: Hammer: Jackhammer on Drugs Anti Tank: <3 for the no splash damage and it is a projectile with no arc. This can be good and bad, but for me it is good. Pretty Inaccurate at long ranges though, but if you get inside a BFRs shields with it, it is dead in less than 30 seconds. Sparrow: If you manage to not get the "Aircraft can no longer be tracked" Warning, then these just plain own. If you are in the aircraft being shot, once your armor starts going down you are dead. TR BFRs: Chaingun: Ownage. Long range, deadly, small COF. Cycler on drugs with 2x the ROF of the MCG. Anti Tank: Meh. Splash damage, arc. more of an AI weapons with AV capabilities to me. Havent used it much though, but when i was attacted by it, It took 20 shells to lower my shields to half. Burster: I am good with these, and farm the Mossies and Reavers trying to hit me. ph34r meh. VS BFRs: Lazers: and 2nd place goes to this under the Hammer. It has long range, and dual of these kill a Rexo in 1.4 seconds (I timed it.). You hear these, run. Anti Tank: Good. All around good weapon. AV gun with AI capabilities. Starfire: Havent Tried it on other air, but to me, it is only good when you have Dual. ROF is slow, Damage is high, but clip is small. But, if the auto aim is as good as the Starfire, this will get You EXP quick (if you dont break down.) ok.. thats my opinion. As for general BFRs, I hate the errors and problems. My BFR got a message right when I crouched to face 2 TR bfrs that said "System Failure, blah blah blah you are in deep shit" Half my health went down, and my shield failed. The Enemy BFRs fired about 5 times and I became my own sun with its own orbiting debris. |

The most glaringly obvious thing I noticed yesterday:
Strategy Died I was on for 8 hours yesterday (TR, Markov) and there was only 1 global message to dircet the masses. And it was a horrible strategic decision to boot. I'm not going to point fingers, but it said "Attack ______ next because that's where everyone is". Is this the best strategy we can come up with? When I finally left _____ because there had been no progress (Yes, to take a base you must actually GET OUT THE BFR and go indoors); I went and locked a continent solo. No XP of coarse because only 2 guys came to resist. And when I went to the Sanc and broadcast that 2 guys are draining one of our bases and see if ne1 wants to assist me in stopping this...well guess how many came to assist. I'm just glad this event is only for a short period of time, then I predict BFRs will become as rare as a fully manned prowler because when alone they really are easy to take down. I can't wait till BFRs become like Sand Giants. As soon as someone sees one, they'll brodcast "SG up at _____" and a team will quickly arrive and jump on it. Pwned. And to everybody complaining: Just a game. Yes I too got pwnt by multiple BFRs every time I walked out a door. Hell, I enjoyed it...sorta. But I say again: You must get out the BFR and go indoors if you want your empire to make any progress.

RoninShogun: Go through the back door and attack their spawn tubes. If we're quick and aggressive, they'll be helpless. KamiGaijin: Yes, because no one ever expects a sudden penetration of their rear and assault on the reproductive area. |

I think they are an interesting addition to the game. However this week there are just too many of them, it makes the game not as fun unless you get in a BFR. I think after this whole event is over th9ings will settle and get back to normal again for the most part. That's what I look forward to most

I like it, being a pilot half the time.
Everyone is so preoccupied on taking out the BFR I farmed tons of infantry last night. Also, BFR's are not overpowered. They can get owned easily without support. Without infantry, other vehicles, or aircraft to keep jammers/ce away from them, they're cake. I like that. Promotes teamwork both ways to protect/destroy a BFR. |
