What are my beef? I don't have beef. I didn't say I don't like RHCP. But they're respected and huge enough to chose their touring partners without being bitch slapped by the record labels. Given that they chose Crazy Town - whom practically everyone here has admitted they know only one song for - sure indicates that they aren't a boy band, even if they aren't very good.

Unless you think RHCP would tour with a boyband. I personally don't.

This proves jack and shit. Dude, I went to the Family Values Tour back in 2001 or 2002, somewhere in there. Stone Temple Pilots was the closing act, I think they also had Staind, Static-X, and some other bands. Their opening act was this retarded goth-like 80s/industrial metal band called "Deadsy".

Now, I don't give a flying fuck whether or not you personally like STP or not. The fact of the matter is, they're a HUGE act and they're also very respected by the industry and by fans. They're not a bunch of pussies that a label can say "You will tour with this sucky band".

Ever hear of a one-hit wonder? And besides, practically everyone here is an extremely small cross-section of the populace, and the people here generally have been gathered by one video game. So you aren't getting a bunch of adolescent girls, old ladies, old men, people of foreign nations, etc. I know more than one song by this suck-ass "band". They only had one that received major radio airplay, and it quickly disappeared and got buried once people realized the level of suck-assedness.

Just because someone only know one song also proves jack and shit. I personally don't know more than one song by, say, Jay-Z. Is he a boyband? Is he any more or less relevant than Crazy-Town?

What the fuck are you talking about? I agree with what you just said. It's a pitty it had nothing to do with what I was saying. My point was that we're trying to judge whether this group is a boy band by one song, despite the fact RHCP chose them to tour with them. Given that RHCP wouldnt tour with a band that:

1) was a boy band

- and -

2) They didnt know

They probably have more knowledge on it than we do. If they're not a boyband to RHCP, they aren't to me.
