Yeah Hamma indoor karting is pretty tight. I held the track record at my home track where I live for a good while, and my team won the endurance championship.
Actually, if you ever get the chance, there's a place up near Boston that's an outdoor track which is quite possibly one of the nicest facilities I've ever seen. I originally thought that was where you had been when I saw F1 Boston. Last summer I qualified for the regionals in the Red Bull Driver Search (which is responsible for having Scott Speed in F1 now), which were held up there. I don't know how fast the karts the track owns go, but the ones that Red Bull brought topped at like like 110. It was pretty fucking intense. Too bad the whole competition was flawed though, they practically already knew who was going to advance to the finals, and I didn't even get to run all of my heats because the chain on my kart broke. But regardless, it was a good experience, and anytime you get to go that fast only 3 inches off the ground, it's bound to be fun.
