I build my very fist computer, and i am still using it now. Something that really help is if you have a mmodle computer you can look at and see how stuff connects.

those led cables go in the bottom right corner of the motherboard. I believe it's to the left of the ones for your power on/off button cable, reset, etc.

Well it all went together perfectly and booted with no problems ,my only problem is is that my CPU tem os idleing at 73 degrees celcius ,(way to hot) so I may have put the heatsink compound and cooling fan on wrong anyone have any ideas ?

Does sound like you may not have a good fit of the heatsink to the CPU. Might want to re-attach and see if it helps.

I don't know abrax, I've got a bigger processor than you, and I hang around 41C. You sure your fan is rated for your processor?

That's a good heatsink, I have read though, on the Thermaltake 7+ you have to use the entire tube of compound. It may just be a fastening problem though, check that first and then make sure you have plenty of compound on it.

I'm not sure how you positioned the heatsink wrong. It's really either hit or miss. It's either on or it isn't. You'd notice if it wasn't on because it would sort of just dangle there lol.

well I remeber thinking that it looked like it was on an angle when i was looking at it lastnight , and I was looking at TT" website and they show lining it with a certain groove wich I didnt check to see if it was
