Voice Com has become part of gaming for me. If I am going to play something on-line I fire up my computer fire up TeamSpeak and see what everyone is doing.
It's to a point where we get about 4 or 5 of us a night just hanging out and playing games. voice com will be a must for Planetside. |

I will definately use Teamspeak for the outfit I'm in at that time. I agree it's a must for a good teamplay. And Teamspreak has LOTS of crazy options , which are important for leaders and stuff. But don't forget that most MMOG's allow you to keep a 'friends' list ingame.. That's prolly more than enough for the regular pubbing games. Voicecom also requires some setting up however or you won't understand a word ppl are saying

Never used a voice chat yet, only game i would have needed it was Tribes and the ingame voice commands were usually enough for my team to understand.
If this game doesn't have an in game voice com i might have to get RW or something though. Is it hard to set up mic/sound wise? It drain a lot of bandwidth ? |
