Hello, just signed up today. This is a great way to try out the game. My friend plays this game often and now I finally have a PC to run it on.

Is it true that Planetside stresses the computer more than other games because I heard people are running out of virtual memories?

No wai, i'm not gonna let them steal my memaries! :O

I don't know, but since the graphics don't look too shiny, it shouldn't be much of a problem to run on today's average gaming machine.
That said, i'm still waiting for a key to try it out for myself. Have overclocked my processor to 3 GHz yesterday though, so i expect it to run well.

You will run it fine, remember the game has been out for several years so newer hardware should not have an issue with it.

It has always been a memory hog however, so the more memory the better
