I believe they said 4 for the average player. Then again, we aren't average players.

First of all i never said this and don't know were you get it from:::
Who would kill their teammates because they didn't like the cert they chose?
Some tard that thinks he can just buy an account @20th level still ain't gonna know how to do shit. It's really little to do with selling and more about buying. They structured it so that you wouldn't have anything to gain by buying someone elses account. It's about climbing the ladder and making checkpoints, so to speak. And if it ever did happen. Chances are, i'm willing to bet. Would result in the purchaser to pretty much hang himself.

What i'm saying is, even if you buy a high level account and rearrange the Certs to your liking. But have no skills to show for it. You might as well have gone through from the begining. Because your lack of skill is gonna cost you all thoughs Certs you just purchased.

If you don't understand. I'm sorry, but you never will.

A game has the right to make selling of accounts illegal and against the terms of use. Doesn't mean they will, but they should.

Woah, calm down, I see what you mean, sheesh. Where's the ?

Just a little constructive criticism, but learn the difference between commas and periods (not the female-related thing).

Sorry, i do the best i can. I been told i can drag on. But sometimes theres no other way to discribe things over a forum. So i usually try to keep any first post short and to the point.

why would someone buy an account allthough it is sometimes a pain to get to a high lvl u don't feal any accomplishment.
Number of reasons, in EverQuest people in ub3r guilds often had extra accounts for powerlevelling. They may have very well played their rogue or their warrior or their druid all the way up to level 60, then they had a second account so they could play 2 characters at the same time, bouncing experience off the high level to power themselves up (high level buffs, damage shields etc).

Secondly, when involved with high level encounters, such as a dragon or a planes raid, it was often beneficial to have a variety of characters at disposal.

These people do nothing but play the game, to them their character is their life, a cleric and a character who can port is essential, so they often bought one of someone who quit the game... these people can play the character to a certain degree of efficency anyway.

characters where not sold for $50 - more like couple hundred at least.

But in planetside I dont see the real point, theres nothing to gain, you wont need to put in X years of development into your character.

The only benefit I can see is to have characters in every empire on the same server, but you can do that by just buying another copy of the game.

ok...

buy characters... play the game, thats probably the stupidest thing ive heard in awhile. Play the game... I cant believe anyone is willing to shell out money instead of actually playing the game. Why would you buy the game if you didnt want to actually play it.

PlasticGEAR you haven't played an MMOG before have you?

If you have played to a high level, you would understand - you might not agree - but you would understand why.

A level 60 character, taking months and months (my character in EQ was started in 1999 didnt reach level 57 until 2 years later) represents a massive time investment.

If you decided for whatever reason that you wanted a different character with different specialisations, you had to create one from scratch. If you did not have the facility to powerlevel a character people often bought characters. These sales would typically be in the $200-$2000 depending on items, level, class (clerics being very very expensive).

Command lvls might go up for sale, as those are much harder to achieve then BR's. I probally would have sold my EQ account, but it was hacked and i lost all my stuff, so that sucks.

People will sell their acounts. It wont make as much money as EQ, but there will still be some. Live with it, lvl up yourself and you'll be able to kill these guys easy enough.

I think his idea was on the lines of:

Purchase account with pilot certs.

Try and fly a galaxy transport, loaded up, without actually knowing how to do it.

Crash, TKing all passengers.
