Again, without further information I'm reserving further judgment. But I'm not talking about the in-game resources they were talking about in the FanFaire speech last night. I'm talking about the specific mention of economy in that article.

I've played many mmos with an economy. Yeah, there were spams. I ignored them. I didn't use the ignore button, i just paid them no attention.

Talk about throwing out the baby with the bathwater. Yes, gold spammers are annoying. But so annoying as to eliminate something that could have a good impact on the game and give people reason to fight? Thats folly. They are pests. Nothing more.

I don't know what the point of your work history was though. Sure, they hire someone to deal with spammers. Good. One expects services to be provided when paying for a service.
