Yeah, my rant wasn't directed at you specifically Krowe.
To be clear on my point... i would even be open to seeing AoE healing, as long as it wasn't game breaking and had a legitimatly nerdy Sci-Fi explanation for how it could be even remotely possible! lol I must say... i'm not asking for Operation Flashpoint, but the idea of a device that somehow provides Area of Effect healing which only works on friendles kinda erodes a level of immersion for me. The only AoE healing i can remember in PS were the auraxian healing crystals... wtf was that?! Anyway, it's hard to complain about those too much, cause they are semi-rare and part of the map, not player generated or a major game mechanic. /rant |

Any more than the concept of healing at all? If we assume its just nanites rebuilding you, well, then, these are just nanites sprayed onto you, healing you at the direction of a remote scanner the medic is carrying.
Every time you respawn nanites are placing quadrillions of atoms in a precise alignment. Even fiddling with the quantum states of many of these atoms. And they are doing this in a matter of moments. Thats so far into the realm of sci fi its absurd. Last edited by CutterJohn; 2011-08-19 at 06:24 PM. |
