I saw them in action, once. This apartment's on fire, me and another guy went to the door, he kicked it in, we dragged out the dead cat, smoke was so thick it felt like it would poison you through your skin.
The fire dept. showed up about 45 minutes later. Leisurely got a fan to blow the smoke out of the apt. staircase. Leisurely went about setting up all their crap. Leisurely waltzed in and used extinguishers to put out the small fire. Someone could have died 250 times before they showed up and did anything. Thank God, no one was in the apartment, we later found out. I was outraged. In this day, of video phones, people would have lost their jobs over it. Nice thing, those video phones.
