We haven't seen a pic of a hovercraft over water that I can recall...maybe the can't.

From the Twitter Q&A. Of course, that could mean the Phantasm isn't a stealth vehicle anymore, but than why call it a Phantasm?

Yes, we have seen renders of it. Damn, you even commented in that thread.

Guys, it was clear from the start that we wont see buggys for release, and that AT stuff wont make a return as well. Therefore, the "more than 20" only had two ways to go: 1. THere is a whole bunch of new vehicles (extremly unlikely), or 2. its a typo (and thats what happend).

Just dont forget that there is a game AFTER release, coming with full development support, means new stuff every now and then.
So dont worry, just wait and see.
