(5 total default means two buggies for a squad, you could also roll with 2 up-gunned buggies and a default, etc) |

I personally LOVED pulling a thundy, it was fun, I had my 2 friends gunning or I got to gun and it floated. They filled the roll of a med sized vech (2-5 people) that's not as slow as a sundy and that's why I liked them and hope they come back along with adding buggys,

I can't wait myself to see the Enforcer make a return this go around. Except maybe this time with the passenger seat available. A nice 3 man fast assault buggy buggy would be beast. Hopefully, they don't wait to long after launch to get buggies in the game. The sooner the better imo.

When Wilber and Orville went for their 28sec ride, THEY unbalanced the world. Aircav was NOT broken in PS1. It was dominate because of the nature of ground vs air. Thats something all the whiners and crybabies never quite can get your head around. This might come as a really difficult concept to grasp, but a MBT, Sundy (one of the least used vehicles in PS lifetime), and a lightning dont really qualify as exciting ground vehicles to alot of us. Without buggies theres going to be nothing to lure aircav to spawn on the ground with. So what do we have? Aircav...............Aircav against a sundy with 2 cannons and what? 8-10 peeps inside? Oh momma.... As to point number 2; Yeah dont count your chickens before their hatched, but 6-12 months after release this game is going to be back burner status by SOE. Its the way they run their games. We're what? a month since the EU/US separation notice and still nothing. And, thats not even PS2 specifically related. Regardless I happen to like this group of devs and wish them well in their new jobs after this is released. |

I was saying what your options are in the NEW PS2, not what happened in PS1. I know how effective raiders were with a full group on vent/ts. Same with any other full group of buggies. Which is basically my point. Without having buggies around and the fun they can provide for large masses of players its going to be aircav/MBT. Aircav wins everytime. Variety can help create some balance to the battleground. Just in the simple fact that it can lure some players to expand their choice options. Bottomline, 5 days after release and everyone and their brother is tired of dying repeatedly because of FOV issues and air vs ground dominance in MBTs and Sundys, aircav is going to be seen as the next coming of Satan or they're going to get onboard and become pilots. |

Shooting down a smart aircav pilot was already a challenge with the skyguard in PS1. I somehow agree with Skit that PS2 will be a lot about aircav and AA. If aircav is very busy with A2A, there might be less A2G. If G2A sucks, dominance will be heavily in favor of aircav.
Air dominance is the first step to ground dominance and I do not think this will change in PS2. Overall, I'm curious to see how PS2 vehicle gameplay will be. |

I suppose from my perspective if they are going to introduce a new vehicle I'd rather it was the Deliverer variants which along with simply being 'new' would give all empires a water-bourne capability. Last edited by ringring; 2012-03-19 at 12:54 PM. |

Light vehicles should focus on amphibious assaults. That should be their purpose in being.
Which of course necessitates a map heavy on aquatic features. Hell....we already have this tech today! Gibbs Tech
