Oh look, it's the, "it's the internet, so we can be assholes," argument. Just because you're on the internet and enjoy the anonymity that comes with it does not mean that you shouldn't treat other people with decency and respect. This community generally rises above that kind of crass behavior and I see little reason to condone it or to allow it to proliferate.
