Lib looks great. I also notice at the bottom that there is a 2-D directional compass in the lesser-used HUD space, I'm not sure if this has been seen before but regardless I'm glad.
On a separate note, RAWRMG FOG! The dynamic weather systems seem to be coming along well, I'm glad to see a solid example of an instance when the weather can have a distinct effect on a battle. It does make me wonder how far they are planning on taking it though. Would it be possible to do lightning, winds, and/or rain with varied frequency/thickness? Combinations of all of them? Thick fog generally comes after a bit of rain... |

Just to note, you left some of the screen uncovered. You may want to fix that, wouldn't want people to be able to see anything.

So I think we're seeing that the pilot controls the chin gun. The chin gun moves indepenently of the aricraft. So how does he control the aircraft, the chin gun and simply looking around the cockpit at the same time.
Maybe the look around is that joystick hat and that can toggle between look around and chin gun..... idk |

Seems a bit tricky. Perhaps the easiest would be if the rear gunner can switch between rear and frontal view? That'd too often would remove your rear situational awareness though... Last edited by Figment; 2012-05-15 at 10:01 AM. |
