Who working on (and playing) Planetside 2 Alpha would even CONSIDER putting in a request for time off at this moment.... Fools!

...However, if that means SOE are a few people down for playtesting purposes, I for one will graciously step in to make up the numbers...

I did see that purrfect and arclegger were up until late playing it. Probably their PTO the Higgs is referring to.

RadarX : On a related note, is there any indication of how far beta will be advanced before Europe gets in? Basti will be sad to miss it!

PTO = paid time off = holiday

I read it as Higby telling me that I would soon be sending my boss an email asking for unpaid PTO as I would be playing in the beta soon.

A better interpretation seems to be that Higby's team was (trying) to play Diablo 3 late at night and is now sending in emails asking for unscheduled PTO.

Just me being too twitchy is all.
