Well considering Flashpoint did this back in 2001 one would expect it to be standard in games dealing with transportation vehicles... Flashpoint also had vehicle enter/exit animations. On the other hand, PS1 had vehicle enter/exit animations aswell, and it was one of those small things that made the game feel well though of and well designed, and they removed those for PS2... |

Is it wrong to want it as unintrusive as possible though? I do not find static objects blocking my vision to be compelling gameplay. I'd rather see the world.
Driving that would feel like playing the original Everquest again.. Massive amounts of useless decoration, itty bitty viewing space. |
