I am aware. That does not mean you guys are not breaking with an iconic feature, and a long standing tradition in the series. I admit, this was partly made in jest, but it IS important due to heritage. 6 games in the main series ( 2 modern ), one in the Planetside off shoot.

Like I said, know your heritage. Planetaside was made by Dynamix developers, Hired by SOE. Much of its systems are based on Tribes concepts.

IMO you just put an irrational value on tradition, when the tradition is about a keybinding.

I understand if you want to fight for a culturally significant tradition, but this is just lame.

Why dont you take your own advice? Planetside was based on a multiplayer tank game called Tarnarus back in 1997, made by Verant and published by SOE.

Also, Complaining about the change from V to B? Really? When you can rebind it yourself? Now you're just complaining for the sake of complaining
