We still have a few rolls that could certainly be filled down the line.

- The buggy could make a comeback (and should. ).
- A medium range Gunship like an Apache (all skill shots, no lock-ons, medium range, low health). The GG nor the Lib are proper gunships.
- A vehicle transport ship. I'd actually like to see it carry something like 2 MBTs or 3 Lightnings.
- The Phantasm should make an appearance. It had some nice uses.
- Modified mobile artillery (Like the Flail, only better suited for PS2).
- I can certainly understand if it's not in, but a recon aircraft would be nice (high altitude with cameras to make ground targets).
-If they add naval combat, all of the naval ship types.
-If they add space combat, all of the space ship types.

Some time ago one of the devs tweeted a concept or rendering of a ground vehicle somewhat similar to the sunderer, but smaller and sleeker. They made sound as if it was some type of troop transport. I'm looking but cant find the image.

That vehicle seemed quite popular with everybody here. I wonder why it's not in-game yet??

Regardless, I hope they keep adding new vehicles post-launch. I'm all for customization, but the pure variety of vehicles on the battlefields of PS1 is one of the many things that make it great.

This should totally be a mod for the quad! Imagine having no front gun, but demounting the bike gives you a anti-infantry/vehicle/air (hard to decide) turret!
(Would be more powerful than the engineer's turret given that it's harder to aquire and position)

How about this for the buggy:
By abbojm02 at 2012-06-17[/IMG]

Think this would be an awesome light weight. Maybe 2-3 seats, Rotating miniguns for the TR and other weapons for other factions. Oh and minus the FORD on the front haha.

Please dont hate me for this one.. My brother flies this in the army and it fills the roll of a forward scout.:

This could be 3-5 seats and could be used with advanced radar/scouting equipment and possible have limited weapons. I was thinking of using it for scouting and small based spec teams. Awesome

Lastly, what do you guys think of using the galaxy as a support role after the hot drop such as radar and targeting info that could be streamed to infantry visors/HUD or the mini map. something like this guy:

Just some thoughts, Cheers.

Yes, if you check the LA cert tree screen posted by Neurotoxin there is fuel for speculation as to customizing your jetpack for vertical lift or horizontal glide.

I would love to see something like that, but maybe something more like a buggy with 3 or 4 passenger seats and one one on the trunk for gunning with a choice of weapons to counter everything like you said. Do want!

I preferred the old way. It had more variety in looks and felt different. A Skyguard was a 2 man vehicle for instance and handled different than the Lightning. Now it's just one look, one feel, just does different stuff..

I loved the assault buggies. Trasher was total awesum. Hunting down BFRs with that baby made my day. Felt great using those with a mate. I feel, as i mentioned before, there is a shift away from multiplayer vehicle design towards more singleplayer orientated vehicles where a second gunner is just for lulz.

This! Everyone's forgotten about this: Like a partial capacity, speedier Sunderer from Nanite Systems

As for every thread on this subject, I am sad that the Skyguard isn't in. Whilst I understand that the Lightning is being touted as the replacement, but honestly I just don;t see it panning out well.

I'm sure we'll see the buggies, and down the line I'd hope to see more vehicles added too.

That said, only add things that either add something new or provide a considerably different way of doing something that already exists.

Here is the buggy in action. It is called the Ford Amatoya and is a concept car designed for quick response fire fighting reconnaissance and scouting. It sits two people almost like an Apache helicopter would.. think driver and gunner sitting behind or something like that. So replace those guns with something more lethal

These look like so much fun..

must.. buy..

The Electronic Warfare Galaxy is a must imo, it's an obvious addition so I'm sure its already in the game, hopefully to the extent that is described by LtHolmes.

That does look sweet, but I'm thinking that's just an early concept of the Sunderer itself. But who knows.

I can see it now: "Oh look, it's windlord Batmanning it up again, trying to fly from that mountain to our base. Are any of you guys infils? Someone take him out before he gets here."
