The faster pace will certainly get tiring, but I think it will be better for the game to have players dictate their own downtime instead of the game forcing it on players who may have just logged in.
Just so long as an entire empire doesn't go on break at the same time Considering it's 666+ people per empire on a continent, I doubt it will drastically affect a battle to take a 10 minute break now and then. |

Theres all kinds of elements from other games. Most of which are lessons on what not to do. I hope SOE can just let a good thing be a good thing and not patch it into mush. The last thing i want to be saying years down the road is "Remember the good old days of PS2?"

Having engineers be able to place a AOE cloaking field that last for a couple of minutes or until the ppl inside the field start to fire. This could be very useful for ambushing ppl, like the arbiter in Starcraft.

Zombie/Infection mode.
Could happen every now and then, one squad starts off as zombies, and every time they kill someone that person becomes a zombie too. It's a fight to survive on the continent as more and more people turn, making it harder to hide! |
