they can do an event style like defend the king. 1 dev per faction, that does have to walk from A to B zone (increase their shield a lot soo sniper can't end the game early) and the faction with the surviving Dev or first too reach wins and cast a rain of meteor/galaxis on the lossing factions.(you can take out last part)

It wouldn't surprise me if they make alt accounts so they can play the game normally without being messaged constantly. I would hope that it wouldn't be possible to chase a single person around, locating them and killing them over and over, no matter where they went or where they chose to respawn, but we'll see (if anyone finds a way to do that).

I would like to have some way to track down or at least give me a hint of where is an enemy player so I could take a sweet revenge when needed and it would boost rivality, something like when your faction clash with him you can get a spot signal from the faction (so there is no risk of ppl stalking him behind enemy lines)

Yeah it would all be fun and games until you find out that the next patch makes VS and TR weapons shoot purple daisies and red roses respectively.

That would be a cool event if they basically made the devs god-mode in-game and the factions had to work together (or maybe not :P) to take them down. I don't want to say "like black ops" because I know most ppl hated that, but it could be fun. Plus they're devs, so they can be as OP as they want.

Oh hell no, I have played games that allowed this.

Hint: It never works out and ALWAYS turns into griefing.

not the worst of ideas tbh I always liked escorting / carrying the thing whatyoucallit from base to base to capture the base it was taken from

I like the idea
If EA/DICE did something like this i am sure everyone would of tryed to knife them and than T bag them.
But the ps2 developers,i like!
If there is an event like this i ll be playing as Higby's personal body guard and revive him all the time

DICE employees do actually play BF3 and they normally use a special DICE dogtag.

I still have a screenie of me killing SporkFire (original PS dev) somewhere. And of course they play. JohnnyA was in our Outfit on Emerald until (I think I'm right in saying) he left SOE. However as others have said, their identities will remain known only by a few trusted people I expect.

I don't listen to music while playing. Don't care if the music sucks to you or not.
Its more important to me to hear whats going on. The Devs are doing a great job. Keep it up guys.

Or have a Event where each faction would have to protect Higby(NC) T-Ray(VS) TotalBiscuit(TR)...that would be pretty damn fun.
