Might as well just go ahead and make the refined bounty idea.
Maybe have it so when they hit that kill streak, since they did KILL someone, IE, location or area known, a large, somewhat random - to avoid directly giving away, zone is placed over their location. Maybe give the "ace", a mission such a s to kill X more enemy players or survive for X amount of time. Maybe both, survival giving less reward than making more kills - basically escape or kill your pursuers. And, when the target reaches the bounty status, have it so it sends a sort of all points bulletin out there. Gives the name, the class and/or vehicle, and then tells you the nearest named location to them, kinda like the death screen - a nice info supply to the hunter. |

Great idea. I especially like the bounty hunt idea. I think the information you are given should be very limited however. I think it should only tell you which hex your target is in, and once you're inside that hex, every kill your target gets should be displayed in your kill-feed and his name should be highlighted in a noticable color. You should also get notified if he hacks a particular terminal. Of course your target will be notified once you enter the hex, so he knows when he should start hacking terminals, simply to lure his hunter into a trap. :P

Sounds pretty cool, but what would be awesome is if when the player sets a mission he can add a description to said mission.
While it would be cool to see this autonomous mission system it would take time to wright a script for finding a balanced location unless they were only used on continents that have no fighting yet as incentive to go somewhere else. Still would be cool to see small bits of story in the missions. |
