Listening to the raw reel, some is terrible (as you'd expect), while some is easily on par with the PS1 lines. If he was doing it in a studio with some direction, I imagine it'd suffice.

Yeah I know, he was obviously invited to do the VO because of his commentary work, same as Simon and Jesse. Although I do think Simon is a far superior voice actor (for what that's worth).
I still don't think TB is a good voice actor nor would I like listening to him ingame, over and over and over.

TB Voice acting is not commentary! - Have a look at the previous video. Very different things, for me he is worthwhile and a decent voice - but that is the difference between preferences isn't it?

Some people like 1 voice, others like another

- this is natural and life. With enough voices, nobody is overused, especially if we can get voicepacks to purchase who we'd like to use.

What do you mean? I was referring to his status as a renowned gaming commentator, which would be my guess as to why they asked him to do a VO.

Well if you listen to the video on the previous page you'll hear him in VO acting mode, very different to commenting, much clearer. Still down to preference of course.

TR can have TB's emotes, NC can have Mr. T, and the Vanu should just get a robot alien voice that says 'all your base are belong to us'

yeah, whatever did happen to the thanks button? some kind of thanks/rep system is always good for forums. Lot of times I dont post because others have already stated what I would say, or I just dont care enough to take the time, and Id rather just thank/rep somebody else...
