Perhaps they could make a seperate tool that communicates with the main planetside exe? That way there's no problems with multi monitor support since its just an independent 2D app running in another window.

Sweet, fingers crossed they supply the demand for the feature, using dual monitors would be sick. Next up I hope some fancy android developers get to making stuff for when my Nexus 7 arrives!

So I had to Google EyeFinity: I thought is was 3D technology, but it's multi-monitor technology.

I heard people setting up Lord of the Rings Online on 2 monitors in 3D.

Since Supreme Commander 2 was mentioned: I'd be more interested in something like using a second monitor as a tactical screen than actually having my field of view extended.

In WoW, for a while at least, I ran a two-monitor setup where I had the world frame on one monitor and all sorts of addons/map/etc on another. Wasn't really helpful in that game, but I'd love to have world/local maps and comms, etc. on another monitor in PS2.

Re: How's the multimonitor support?

its not about an advantage of some sort, its about the feeling playing with ultra-widescreen.

isn't it possible to run multi-monitor in windows extended desktop and have the website with the map open on the left or right screen and the game on the middle screen? if not in fullscreen it should be possible in window-mode...

was wondering since iver never had multi monitors or a card that could run them. will be getting a nvidea 550 ti, so i am assuming i will be able to run 2 monitors.

what i was wondering was would i be able to play planetside 2 on the TV (main monitor) and have the second 19 inch square monitor dedicated to just the map/ menues? is that possible in any game, and if so, how would you go about setting that up? extended screen with a windowed mode or something?

This is what I was asking for above but I doubt it'll be possible. To date, there is no game that has supported this (that I know of), except Supreme Commander 2 and WoW with a bunch of addons.

I always wanted this in PS1. I was forever popping back and forth to the map looking for gen droppers and hotspots to respond to.
