I've already posted in this thread.

You just have a bad attitude because your idea bombed. That is why people are reacting so badly to it.

I mean its not a terrible idea. It's just not really needed.

I think it is, and that will become more obvious later on.

What happened in PS1? Just about everyone got CR5.

What will happen in PS2? Just about everyone will cert up to OS and can do it without ever leading.

You still don't see the problem?

Re: Command 'Resource'

Because they said it's not reasonable for a single player to cert everything under the new system. There is simply too many, and many more planned.

Not to mention they're apparently less effective and are expensive to use resource wise, plus a timer.

I think we're safe. Adding another silly 'resource' will just add tedium, and won't actually solve the problem you're describing. If anything it might make it worse.

Think about it. Players will accrue a pile of resources with the sole use of dropping OS's. They can now use this as much as they like with no detrimental effect on any other aspect of their gaming.

At least with the current system, if someone likes using OS's as part of their player build they will have severely reduced capabilities with regards to pulling aircraft and tanks.

If you still don't see the problem? Good day sir.

I didn't say anything about people getting all certs, I said people will get the OS at some point.

Effective and Expensive are all relative terms.

I think we're safe.
Most thought that about OSes in PS1.. I still remember a dev telling me they didn't think more than 5% of the playerbase would ever get passed CR3 back in 2003.

Add tedium to what? Make what worse?

Was wondering when a pseudo genius was going to point that out. Let me counter with a hard cap on 'Commandium'.

That is what is called a baseless assumption. You have no idea how OSes will be balanced within the general resource pool.

If you still don't see the problem? Good day sir.
You will see that I'm right, and I'll happily remind you that I told you so when it happens.

An idea that might limit command spam, - a yes vote from me.

Anyone who can't see the problem with most random people being able to be a leader, are in for a world of trouble . Its not as if you've picked a group you respect to share ideas combined from, these are everyone and anyone, all over the place arguing and disagreeing on what to do and where to go.

The mission system really needs to be well planned, I hope and I've said it a dozen times now, someone intelligent is on that - else mission spam -will- hit.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees CR5pam coming back in PS2.
