660 Ti is being released the 16th. Likely with a 660 priced around $250. Maybe worth waiting to see what the performance is.

Unless it directly affects how much the 670 will cost afterwards, I'm completely alright buying the 670. Considering I have not payed for upgrades in years It doesn't bother me to spend $150-100 more for the next tier. I would rather move towards the higher-end cards on this build anyways.
Besides when i have extra money laying around for too long I spend it on unimportant things >.< Edit: That Rosewill Challenger case is the one I'm looking at. It also comes in a USB3.0 variant for $10 extra dollars. What are your opinions on that? If you like go for it, looks like good air flow. However I think its ugly as hell. Never liked it due to that. Everyone has their own taste for cases.

Back to my question you may have missed it after looking at the case haha, To go with USB3.0 for $60 or the original USB2.0 for $50? Thanks |

I'd go with USB 2.0, unless you use your USB ports a lot for transferring data and such...
RAM deal (promo code) The HDD I recommended before also happens to have a good deal going for it at the moment (promo code), as does the PSU which has a promo code and a mail-in rebate, but I'm not sure how/if those stack... Last edited by Vancha; 2012-08-01 at 02:13 PM. |

Alright thanks, only thing i'm concerned about now is how tight of a squeeze that 670 is going to be. Got my IT guy to look it over. He said its not something he would build but I already knew that coming from his background. Other than that he said i was good to go. Going to pull the trigger by Friday, then sometime next week grab some beer and he's going to teach me how to slap it all together.
Thanks to everyone on this thread for all your input. I'll post up when she's finished. |

If you want to get technical. Your 670 has a 11% 1 star reviews (8/73) of the total number and the Gigabyte has 11% (15/136). Seems pretty even. Best of luck .
