Considering I never committed to this and the fact that Higby knew when beta would be (we had internal beta dates planned months in advance) and as far as I know water could be months and months or years away (cause its not up to me and it's not some epic milestone like beta) I'm not doing this. So we can just stop talking about it now.

Love youuuuuuuu

Oh boy. Now I can read between the lines and come to my own wild conclusions!

I've seen the rest of you do it, so I'm going to give it a shot.

Let's see.
Adam obviously just said "Twitter keys are worthless, we hate the vets, we hate the EU players, tech test is going to take 2 months, and shortly before closed Beta, Planetside 2 will be cancelled and the assets recycled into a Hot Key MMO."

He also just promised not to cut his hair or his beard until full water physics implementation with naval craft.

amidoinitrite?

Nothing wrong with long hair anyway as long as you tie it back so you don't eat it, just longer times in showers. Mine is about 3+ feet long and I'm a dude.

But ya, don't say things like that Seph, it makes me wanna stop watching the forums and forget :P

Maybe we're on to something here... game development (particularly in recent years) always seems slow and lacking a certain initiative...

If this is starting a trend of devs publicly shaming themselves if they don't meet our demands - causing them to work more efficiently - maybe the industry and gamers will benefit!

F*ck water, IMO. Lots of more important crap to worry about first.

I like the bridge battles of PS1 but a couple of good canyon passes should keep things just as interesting.

i dont get it, is this an engine issue that it cant render water, why cant they add some streams, puddles or something alike, just for landscape variety, so everyone can be happy?

Wait wut?

Years away? What do you want the continents to be surrounded with until then? Isn't water somehow fundamental?

I say until release day comes around lets all swear not to cut our hair and shave it off only when the game is released.

No water is going to make the continents so dry and boring :|

Really dropping the ball here, devs. Square continents with no water = boring and bad

We really need some water to break up the landscape. Even unoptimized water would be better than nothing.
*edit The lack of water in the maps was one of the very first things that seemed off to me when I was playing SWToR.
