I'm thinking that the trailer will be between 3-5 minutes. Given the high quality of the animation and detail, more than 5 minutes seems very unlikely to me. But hey; I'd be thrilled if it was! I'm hoping that they basically show every class doing something representative (medics healing, engineers repairing, light assault leaping around, etc). And I hope to see plenty of each faction gaining and losing the upper hand during the battles, so everyone is reminded that SOE is not painting any faction as the good guys or bad guys. Very excited!

I'm really not all that excited for the trailer itself, per se, but I'm more interested in any announcements that may follow afterwards. Smedly said on Twitter that beta would start Monday/Tuesday, but I'm expecting an official announcement following the cinematic trailer.

Althought really nice to look at, I am not a fan of cinimatic trailers for video games they can mis-represent so much. I expect the first miniute to be cinimatic followed by a (I hope not to quick) cuts scene segment of in-game footage.

I would really just prefer they go old school Battlefield Trailer style though, all in game footage, but it's to late for that.

If only this were true. I'm also hoping that it will reveal some sort of official date. Clegg mentioned on his twitter that "people will know about it" after the trailer. That tells me that they may be found some big, previously unknown piece of info that will appeal to the masses.

I don't think it's true, but can you imagine the fallout if they announced a permanent live stream with link at the end of the video?

"oh by the way beta is live... Right meow." kinda thing?

Heres hoping for an epic 15 minute CG episode that goes into detail about all three empires and then shows a few of the awesome things you can do.
