can someone please explain what is wrong with punkbuster? i know what it is, but people hate it, and i don't know why.

the only reason i hate (a very, tiny, tiny bit) it is because it (very rarely) used to kick me out of bf2142 servers, but apart from that, i don't have a problem with it.

Dont like steam! It makes games which i should run properly to run with frame losses. (and i've tested it!) But it's not a big biggie cause i'm 99% sure the game will be available from SOE site without steam.

its an out of date system that is easily circumvented and normally causes more problems for legit players then it does cheaters.

in short it does its job only so well as it needs to so that it can be called an anti-cheat. (in the same way a mcdonalds fry cook can be called a cook)
