For some reason I can't find clubs where this kind of music is playing. All lady gaga electro remixes, dj thisortheother and such.

Probably because it is more "dark" and people like to hear more "happy" lifelike tones when getting drunk etc.
But i like this kind of electronic music too, so it is a little weird yes ^^

Loving the playlists. Also loving the fact that Spotify mobile is now free. Just pointed my browser to the 2 playlists listed in the thread so far and subscribed to them in the Android app on my phone.

Good stuff, liking what i've heard so far.. props for Camo and Krooked, Feed me, Deadmau5, Nero, Noisia, Pendulum, Prodigy, Skrillex, Sub Focus (could have a few more, go on !), SHM, Underworld, Zed.. All guys i've seen live over the last year or so.

IMO you could definitely add some Wolfgang Gartner, Kill the Noise, Knife Party !, Bloody Beetroots.. You on last.fm? Here's my account.. Feel free to add me. You will have to filter out the Swedish death metal and the prog rock if your looking for stuff to add though

Yeah, its an awesome site. It 'scrobbles' everything you plays and stores it in your library.. Recommends new music based on the sort of stuff you listen too, events in the local area you might want to go to. Its much bigger in europe I think at the moment.

If your a music nut like me then definitely worth setting up an account, if you solely use spotify then all you need to do is insert your last.fm username and password into spotify preferences and it will automatically work.. If you're using iTunes/windows media player/etc then you have to install a small plugin which you can find on the site.

Daft punk's main stuff doesnt sound like the tron legacy soundtrack, nothing does. Unless I totally missed a slew of artists, I dont see anything that resembles it at all. No orchestral instruments with electronic sounds.

I'll pass on this whole spotify fad. Doesn't work on my machine claiming I'm living in the wrong country. I could setup a VM and VPN to run it, but why bother? Torrents and DC is where I get my music.
