The world would be steam era, because that was the best time: Where there were pistons and gears grinding, actual people doing labor instead of robots, fantastic creations to marvel the world.
Of coarse, modern tech would continue behind closed doors.
Until I learn how to modify atoms to make infinite matter of my choice.
Infinite resources. Infinite energy.
And then I'll search the stars. We can't be alone.

I'd go down as the greatest Dictator of all time, fame or infamy I'd let history decide.

I would make a complicated Head Quarters. I would make my air ducts so small, no one could fit through them. I would have computer terminals giving a map of the entire complex. But, the control room will be labeled Trash Disposal Room and the the Trash Disposal Room will be the Control Room. In my control room, the self destruct button will be a small blue button located under my chair. My army will be dressed in bright encouraging colors to throw off the enemy. Although storm troopers and Nazi soldiers had cool uniforms, they all eventually failed. Another thing, I will have a little kid go over my evil plans and if he can find any errors, I will fix them. We all know the simple things are what destroy a plan:/

I'm on the heavier side (Large gut but not to the scale of say Peter Griffin) but I find the idea of outlawing overweight people hilarious. In a cartooish way atleast. It reminds me of the cardio scene from zombieland. That and a guerilla army of people who are soft as a teddy bear physically just...seems so ridiculous.

Not trying to sound prejudiced. The notion that such a thing would ever need to exist just seems so cartoonish that I can't help but be amused.

Oh and don't get me started on the Cat-Outcast alliance...
