If you avoid anything that hasn't been officially announced/covered... you're safe.
Of course this also means not adding any details to anything official that's not specifically covered. Basically... once you're in... the only place you can talk about the game is in the beta forums, and outside that, you can only talk about what's well known. You can't even add your speculations anymore as your speculations are biased from internal knowledge. I've been a member of a alpha & beta testing group that has been employed for numerous games and I've done a fair number of tests.... "Fight clubs" rules pretty much cover it. First rule of beta is YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT BETA Second rule of beta is YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT THE FLAMING BETA!! Not necessarily... If the results turned up in Google search are themselves NDA violations, then you'd only be perpetuating them. Only official sources are legitimate. Last edited by RoninOni; 2012-08-14 at 05:28 PM. |

Yah, Basically the title "Non-Disclosure Agreement" say's all you need to know.
Everything else is all the legalese required to make it legally binding. The way the court systems work, if they don't clearly cover it within the contract, then it wouldn't be legally binding.... so really, scrutiny of NDA's is for people looking for loopholes that could get them out of legal ramification (which is unlikely anyways unless you REALLY violate NDA... they can ban you regardless just because they can. No legalities required. So mostly a moot point anyways.) |

It's publicly posted data.......
FFS they can hardly criticize anyone for saying something they've released to the public. And it's not like the NDA actually violates any of the NDA itself (talking about content under embargo). |
