gotta count another vote for Stevie Ray.
I saw him in concert 5 times before he died. seen many others over time. no one can touch him for the style and energy in a live performance.

When you say musician do you also mean writer/composers?
For now I am leaving out the writer/composer aspect. 3, In no particular order: Andres Segovia (the hands down, all time greatest guitarist) Charlie Parker Sergei Rachmaninov
