Homers been looking for the door for awhile, you know the type that need to have a major song and dance before they walk off instead of just walking off.
True there's been some server instability but come on man, look at how full all the servers are there's bound to be at least 2 weeks of settling in trouble it's a freaking MMOFPS ffs, what other FPS comes close to this size? Making and building a game beast of this size to be flawless ain't going to happen over night.

Jumping out after only 3 days makes you look like petulant child.

Best way to deal with this is giving the player a choice. Once you choose you can't complain.

I think there's a clause in the SOE company founding principle document that forces them to do things the hard way
