My answer to you sir is... FLARES! You really need to invest into the certs of whatever aircraft you are flying to get any really use out of them.

I absolutely agree with flares. I can't imagine aerial combat with them for my Reaver.

However, Liberators can take more than a few A2AMs. My pilot takes fire suppression and it saves our Liberator far more than flares would, but I believe both are good.
