No, but apparently the optimization patch and subsequent masses of people trying to log in at once has created a new warp entity.
BEHOLD YOUR NEW GOD! Edit: Sadly I haven't been able to stay logged on. I hope this is just the rush of players making the server hamster choke and not a sign of the EU servers still not having been fixed.

So they knew this was going to/does happen after major updates but still didn't plan according overheads; I feel I might be being alittle harsh here but it seems all abit fly by your seat amateurish from where I'm sitting but there's time to correct that.
I'll see what the optimizations are like but I want these effectively short term achievements mean bigger and better things long term design/content wise and if they fail to deliver there then my wallet is sticking firmly in my back pocket - no more financing the "what ifs" and "hopefully to be's". |

Yeah, bugs are to be expected, i don't really have a problem with those.
Some were amusing (like a short grenade-throw animation when switching aimed weapons), and some were annoying (like a constant "elevator" buzz noise i caught at some point). Gotta give them credit for finally fixing the one irksome turret at west highlands though, that one was sitting in mid-air for like half a year lol. |

For me, I haven't seen much of an FPS increase whatsoever (in fact, sitting in the warpgate my FPS seems lower, hovering around 45-50 frames when before I used to get 50+).
But, what I have noticed is that my FPS seems to be much more consistent and stable. I went to a Biolab during an Esamir alert a few hours ago, and the combat was pretty heavy but my FPS never dropped below 25, whereas before it would frequently dip into 10-20 range. So I guess that's a decent improvement. The new HUD is... okay. I need more time to acclimate. I can say for sure though that the new "jagged lines" we have instead of the sleek bars are pretty fugly to look at. The jury's still out on the backlight behind people's names. |

Welp, decide to give it a go after about 2 months break. It's really nice right now especially with my new setup. Didn't notice any issues really from my 30 minutes of playing.
Game is still as boring as ever so I'll propably wait for some gameplay changes and Hossin before I'll really get into the game again. :P |

Hmmm, Lets try the game again then
[edit] Alright, looks like the performance is better. I get less frames in the warpgate, but it does feel like the frames are more constant. I got about 45 FPS in a moderate fight. So we're getting there Last edited by bjorntju1; 2013-11-12 at 03:51 PM. |

Is the Striker still FUBAR? Last night I was emptying mag after mag at Vanoob air and armor, and mag after mag zoomed into the stratosphere and detonated like fireworks. First time I've ragequit since early release.

A general note: It might be a good idea to delete your useroptions.ini and having the game create a new one. (Generally a good idea to do this every time a big patch is available)

EDIT: So, i did this.. game created new options (everything at medium) and ran just fine eventhough there was no noticeable difference in fps.. but looked butt-ugly. I guess i need to find some sort of middleroad between performance and looks. Sucks cause it used to run fine with everything maxed, now its unplayable with those settings.
