Ah shut up , the past is the past its there for a reason, and yes lots of people gave there lives I have family members or had ,that gave there lives . I second a C&C MMOFPS, just for the love of god don't let Westwood try to make it. Renegades was horrible mulitplayer, not because of the concept, GUI or gameplay but rather because Westwood managed to prove they can't design a mulitplayer internet game that runs on the net worth a shit.

I hear they got most of the bugs fixed in patches later on but trying to play multiplayer on release was like trying to walk around while up to your neck in molasis, molasis that would drag you back and forth across the level

I'm not saying WW2 is holy or anything. I'm saying that you shouldn't just forget everything that happened beforehand. If we did the world would be much different, instead of having a thriving economy and social structure (well, for the most part) we'd probably still be goverened by the fuedal system or even worse.

Edit: I wasn't told to care either just to let you know, all my knowledge of WW2 is from the internet and books. When I saw all those corpses and men who were going to die scattered around the battlefield I felt sympathy. Not becuase somone told me to feel sympathy, but becuase I wanted to feel sympathy, so don't tell me I care becuase somone told me to care. I care becuase I feel like caring.

A C&C Generals based one would be cool, but it would kinda be hard to balance the GLA. No aircraft, and they have pick-up trucks and odd stuff like that for vehicles. They also have some goofy infantry, too. Imagine how awesome it would be to stomp around in your bad-ass tractor, or to run up to the enemy and blowing yourself up.

But still, if they could pull it off, it would be pretty neat.

Two suggestions...

First: DUNE!!!

Dammit i wanna be atriedes man... that would be awesome... uve got the ornitihopter and shit, and you would have to guard harvesting viechles and such , well mostly it would be like PS of casue...


Second: Stop thinking human... Think alternate reality...

I Want 3 non human races, all with their traits and abilitys... all pretty sofisticated, with laser guns, maybe u can make their technology uneachel, so one race is less intelligent, but has other kinds of weapons and such things... all would be possible, since it is out of this world... U could even have different planets to figth on...

ya, but it needs to be a starcraft style MMORTSFPS
so it has fps and rts elements (like WC3, but with you as the hero, or somehting, but for starcraft)
