Is anyone else getting long ass times for the mega patch dlaod?

2 hours?! 3 hours?! How did you get that? I am getting 20 hours! And yes, I have tried that cancel and redownload thing many times.

Be aware that there are THIRTY THOUSAND (probably more than that, actually) people attempting to download this at the same time. It is going to be slow.

As for the size of the patch, most of it is in the form of altering the layout of the continents. That is not cheap, memory-wise. It is also not something that can easily be done in small pieces.

I've gotten up to 150 hrs of waiting time. All i did was cancel the downlaod, and restart it. Now it's almost done and i got 15 mins left.

Powda, I'm assuming you're not in beta. It used to take me 10 mins on dial up to get 1 meg. Gah! And that was if the site was stable. BTW, to get the patch alone it would take me about 50 hours if I was at that rate on dial up. Luckily, I'm on DSL, shitty, but fast enough
