how long can you play this halo clone?

Sorry, but i am in this game for the long haul.

1. Ever expanding content, as confirmed by the CEO of SOE.
2. massive (and i mean massive) battles of a hundred or hundreds for just one base.
3. New skills
4. Nice Vehicle interface
5. Ever adaptive Tactics
6. NO AI!! (except for those damn turrets)
7. Did I mention the 1000s of players on one server set?
8. Many of my online crew is migrating to it.
9. The ability to conquer.
10. the ability to save.
11. The ability to become a feared badass.

I agree with several of the above statements. The game is about the fight and your squadmates.. and VS locking down THREE.. yes THREE continents on Malkov last night woot.

At least I think it was malkov, I can't remember what server I'm on.. staying up wayyy too late.

you know, i just got to add more to this. I am dumbfounded on your comments about software and tennis shoes. At least try to make an intelligent argument. I mean, some what intelligent? Somewhat coherent? damn. guess u can't.

People buy all sorts of shit and spend money in all sorts of items in order to pass the time. And I've never considered any of it stupid.

1. Women (like my wife) love to shop, especially for shoes.
2. People love to spend thousands of dollars working on the cars, customizing them.
3. People spend thousands of dollars on books for their personal libraries.
4. Money is spent on hobbies like Hiking, Biking and Camping
5. People spend money computer hardware to customize their rigs.
6. People spend money on DVD Collections
7. On photography
8. On remote control models
9. on Beanie Babies.

I mean, you argument has no basis as its this type of spending that people enjoy and helps drive an economy. you are a fool for thinking otherwise.

Pay to Play is no big deal. $13/month = what?

A pizza? no, these days - a good pizza is about $16 and lasts about 30 minutes.
A case of Beer? nope, hell, the last 12 pack i bought was $13. and lasts about a good nite.
A movie? Depends, you got a date? if you got a date, its way past that $13. That's two hours and doesn't include the over priced diet coke you know your date is gonna get (plus u don't konw if you gonna get lucky)
A rental? Maybe, if you get just one movie a month and never turn it in late. And then you only get it for a few days.
Dinner? Anything outside of fast food costs u a minumum of $13. 9.95 for a decent maincourse, 1.50 for your tea or coke, plus tax and tip.

So $13 is not a lot to spend for entertainment. Hell, if you just play 1 friggin' hour a night for a 30 day month that equals = $.43 an hour. I'm sorry, but your arguments suck, and i've yet to spend thousands a year for software.
