ya if you don't have a team that knows what you are doing you might as well try to knife a max, becuase your not going to go any where. i use teamspeak and like it alot better then the voice thing in ps, and when we got a full squad and when we got a good leader we pretty much rule. currently on markov playing as vanu

Yeah, last night on Amerish was the AGO's first coordinated operation. (Technically not the first, but others were plauged by server instability/patches).
You can check out a summerized operation log of the events on Amerish at: http://www.dragonwolves.com/ago/ click on "operations" in the menu Great battles all around!

I was there buddy! Spent 6 hours on Amerish, started out br3 and ended up 1/2 way to BR7. I am on Vanu =P And let me tell you, it was hell. We started capping early, saw Miir around a few times, but we just couldn't get our shit together. We got probably half the continent at one point. One time there was a lone hacker at Hokka(sp) so I went out there by myself. Tricky little bastard, a friendly finally showed up in a 'Skitto and we got the base back. But the VS was severly lacking on the team aspect. No one was talking, the TR were rushing like mad. Hell I saw Hamma get a triple kill from a vehichle, I forgot which one. I then preceded to storm mad TR MAXes in my reinforced armor with my Pulsar.. yea, this ain't CS. By 3 am I got the bright idea to trade in my AMS creds for a Mag, running over you little red dots is fun Hell I wasted a couples maxes, without a gunner.
The best night by far was near Cetan(I think), where our last of 2 bases. Those TR punks were pushing their hearts out. They finally got us out of their base and we had a lone tower. Our final stand off. The most memoriable moment would be the time I circle strafed a TR MAX like a mother He couldn't keep up with me, got him and 1 of the 2 grunts that came after... I couldn't stop laughing... Thanks for the fun TR - we'll repay ya -PD |

MMMMMM... Amerish was so much fun last night. Every TR was amazingly cooridinated and we locked the VS back yard it was great the last battle for the final base was epic. There must have been 100-200 TR there.
The sad thing is when i woke up at 1 on sunday the cont was almost all VS and they later locked it. |

Tek,
lag was fine. Gameplay was the most fun I've had in an online game ever. I did a lot of tanking on Amerish early on in the AGO push. My tank was the first across the bridge south of the Merkala tech plant. It was incredible. Infantry went across first and with the lead tank I had to be very careful not to run people over, so the advance across the bridge was at a crawl. figure 10-12 infantry in front of me, tanks and other vehicles behind me. Infantry did a good job of clearing mines (I remember donkeysmiler in particular taking out mines the right way...with his weapons. Other infantry did it the hard way...stepping on them.) As we neared the end of the bridge a Vanu drove up in an AMS and was quickly killed. When I got to the end of the bridge I pushed it out of the way to make room for the follow-on forces. I came back to Amerish later that same day/night for the final push to achieve lock. Vanu fought hard and cdl troops helped by defending some base areas like Sangrey and onatha. That battle lasted for basically at least 12 hours total. No other fps can do that with that many people on a persistant battlefield. A really great experience. Continent locks and defending against continent locks are where its at right now. Really provides some huge and interesting battles. |

VS did same thing on Johari once. And there we are regularly #3 on population. I have no reason to think the TR or the NC or the VS are overpowered. Just all the good people go onto one side on one server and so all the whiny babies screaming nerf think the other side is overpowerful. They are just good with what they got.
