Fucking A. Baseball is the most boring sport in the world. I watch golf, and I won't even watch baseball. Any game, where the whole point is to keep someone from hitting the ball - is lame. The fact that Baseball is considered America's sport just plain sucks.

We didn't lose a lot of troops in this war but from what I hear more than half of all lower enlisted who fought in this war plan on leaving the military when their time is up. It appears that the desert of glory was mostly a wake up call for those who fought for the first time. Most people that died were lower enlisted but that's to be expected. The youngest always die for the oldest.

To answer the whole cork thing, it makes the bat slightly lighter, which increases the bat head speed, which increases the ball speed coming off the bat. which of corse gives an extream advantage in the hands of pro ball player.
