i'll have to try this.

The most entertaining thing that i've done is managed to launch (and i mean launch) my Galaxy 1000m straight up in literally 1 second.

Normally, at 400m or so, there's a ceiling, well, i blasted past that in a hurry. it flashed once at 400, half a second later it read 800, then it read 1054 before i started to descend.

I don't know how i did it...

but i was trying to land inside the bases wall in a CY. i was receiving the usual improper landing warning and couldn't quite get on lvl ground. you know, the point you're a half foot off and can slide around.

well, i tried to force the landing by holding my "c" key and was getting that bump off the ground when suddenly the walls and base just dropped away. i managed to tip my nose down to watch it all flash away and next thing i know.. my galaxy was 1000m high.

i got tons of laughter from my squad mates cause the saw my meteoric rise and thought i crashed.... a minute later i came hovering back down... i got a lot of woah...

Well i tried it, but something really pissed me off. I went to the vs wg in esamir to do it, but then 2 enemy reavers came through, and since i couldnt go in the bubble, they killed me.
So i did it again, locked on (sideways) and tumbled down. Yeah you spin a lot and go down really fast, but im not sure what the big deal is. Maybe im not doing it right.

First off, I said in the explanation of this that it was fun AND pointless, so dont be surprised if after you do it your like "wow, that was really fun and such a waste of time!". Secondly, one of the reasons you didnt have as much fun was because you have to find a good spot to slide onto. For instance, you can go to the TR sanctuary warpgate in Creshyen ( I recomend this ALOT) and there is a snowy hill thingy that juts out from the warpgate that basically makes a halfpipe that you can slide onto and do insane tricks off of. Thats actually the place where I first found out about this trick. Try that, maybe you will have more fun that way.
