More than likely, you'll get the emails tomorrow, you can download Thurs and Fri, then boom, Saturday starts the Open Beta.

Honestly, even if he's finally having his hair cut...It don't mean the tech test....the closed beta....the open beta...or whatever will suddenly kick in to a fixed timetable just for our convenience. The haircut thing has clearly become a really good publicity stunt for them...they will want to milk it as best they can (good for them). But it's not as though there will be some guy waiting with his finger on the beta switch for the last of higby's locks to hit the ground. Yes, yes it means the test is "here" but that could still be the weekend to even next Monday, rather than Thursday evening or Friday morning.
We know the tech test hadn't started as of a couple of days ago...It might be on now...who knows (although if it is, I'm surprised that it hasn't leaked, NDA or not). But whatever "stage" is on at the moment...the thing will roll out as they need it to. If the tech test IS happening as we speak and it throws up serious problems, do we really think they'll still move to the first stage of beta just cos higby's been to the barbers? This is all for SOE not for us. And to those worried cos they're working Friday or going away this weekend....relax, you probably wouldn't be in the first "wave" anyway...most of us probably won't be...
But yep the haircut is very good news...
