People in this thread gotta chill out. The quality of your internet connection is basically a lottery if you're a residential customer. If you're paying for some uber connection, well, then, you get what you pay for.

The customers for the ISP I work for pay us often hundreds of thousands of dollars a month to get a lot of bandwidth and low latency. Even so, there's a ton of factors that play into whether or not that happens. Ultimately, we're always considered responsible, even if another ISP decides to push the traffic we hand them over a copper bundle wrapped in paper sitting in a wet NYC subway tunnel. True story, by the way.
