well 56 aint much but at least it's a start and we are 56 closer to getting in. hopefully by monday they start cranking up the invites some.

Smed said tech test invites go out today. If you don't get one today, then I wouldn't advise you keep watching your email for that invite. Just go do something else.

Beta will be sometime later depending on how that goes. Waves of invites go out as testing progresses.

There's no official word on how the NDA is written in regards to telling people you got in, but I wouldn't count on it being allowed.

I know this feeling.. I googled "planetside 2" from 2006, 7, or 8 (can't really remember) at least once a month, always hoping for at least one hit. When google showed me the first rumours, I got pretty excited

Pay no attention to the number in First Platoon. Technical Test is a random selection based off SPECIFIC hardware they want to test on.

As I have said twice already in this thread.. First Platoon is NOT Technical Test and Technical Test is NOT First Platoon.

The test will start in the next day or two, but the invites should still come today. That would give people time to download the client. Plus, that puts the tech test on the weekend, which would give SOE a better chance of having more of their invitees being able to participate.

Higby looked pretty tired at the event yesterday and Arclegger had to skip it to keep working. If dates aren't certain its because they are trying to launch it the moment it's done instead of dragging their feet or hedging their bets and naming a safe date in the future.
