Also, it isn't a matter of something being mainstream, it's just that I try and find something truely special about every band that I like, that makes me want to listen to them. The thing about mainstream music is that in order to make it acceptable by a broader audience, it has to forgo the little flairs that could go either way musically but tend to make me like them a lot more. So it's a matter of taste intersecting production.
