Ok

I want the Lodestar to be introduced soon (bigger fatter Ga )

But, think about it, the things gonna be absolutely huge!!

I reckon it should be able to cloak, but to nerf it a bit, make it so that none of the onboard weapons can be used whilst it is cloaked (klingon bird of prey style)

And a better landing ability than the Gal (i know it's bigger, but it could have longer landing gear...)

And I wouldn't mind having a forward firing 20mm gun for the pilot to use

There's probably more in my head, but it doesn't want to come out and play at the moment...

Ok here goes, i want for christmas:

3 flavours of artillery
2 types of heavy machine gun
1 flashbang grenade
and the ability to crawl

The 3 artillery flavours are..

Light (man portable 81mm mortar units) Medium (Deployable 105mm light guns e.g howitzer) and HEAVY (155mm self-propelled unit e.g crusader or AS90)

Ammo: 3 types HE, plasma and jammer. HE has smallest radius of damage but causes most damage, plasma has medium radius but less damage than HE (u could use it too block entrances to bases cos soldiers cant walk in that area till plasma disapates.) and jammer has largest range but obviously only disruptes electronics.

Range: Heavy is longest, medium half of heavy, light half of medium.

Rate of fire: Heavy has medium ROF and has ammo clip of 12, after depleted it takes a bloody age to reload. Medium is one shot wonder but reload time is ok. Light cos its a mortar u just chuck it down the tube and away it goes so ROF is fastest.

Means of deployment: Mortar is man portable collapsable unit (so people can carry it in their bun bag). Medium can be attached to the back of a new modified AMS that just carries a HUGE amount of ammo. Heavy is a vehicle in itself but still needs to be resupplied with ammo by my new ammo truck.

Crew: 1-1 basis for mortar and medium 2 for heavy. Heavy also has 360 degree rotational gun for defense.

Armour: Practically bugger all in comparision to other vehicles. This is its weakness oh and there all pretty slow, the heavy is bloody slow but can fit in galaxy.

Also commanders of type CR3 and above will be given binocluars and an integrated targetting system that puts out the call for what type of ammo to use and how focused the bombardment should be.

Would have to work on how grief system will deal with TK's though. Especially with bad coordinates given by commanders.

2 types of Hvy machinegun, well i guess u could just make 3 one for each faction. 1 man device but would be ideal for someone to carry extra ammo for it. something like modern day M60, GPMG. have to lay down to fire accuratly (see why i asked for the ability to crawl!!!). Might make barrell overheat or something if u fire too much.

Well thats it for now waddya think????

Oh no wait i forgot, i also want a new proper gunship aircraft, well armoured but slow as hell to replicate the AC-130 spectre gunship.

I think that jetpacks should be a cert that allows infantry to fly up lie the vanu maxes, it could either recharge like the vanu max or use gas canisters that could be held in inventory. I also thin there should be heavy gunship that would have two crew positions, one to fly and pilot the caraft( the pilot would also have a forward firing machine gun) and a gunner who would gun a huge, minigun( either that or a fast firing rocket launcher with a lot of ammo) on the side of the craft, the minigun would be very powerful, it would have small splash damage and could only be fired from one side, that way the pilot would fly the heavily armored gunship near the base and the gunner would obliterate it

Idea for the next expansion pack


Ok, heres an idea for the next expansion pack after Core Combat.

Orbital bases!.

Six huge orbital bases. Huge indoor combat, with interconnected modules, each module being the equivelent for a base to be conquored.

Transport via each module can be eaither via the large direct interconnecting tubes or via shuttle docking bays, which are on the outter edge of a module, and transport your automaticlly, via a shuttle, to one of the docking bays on a near module.

You could have different module sections, including manafacturing facillitys, industrial complexs, Horticultural modules, command nexus (perhaps the ulltimate goal) and power stations.

The only problem is : no vechicals...

But you could have zero-G enviroments!!!!.
And it thats the case, you could have jet-pack, or MAX-jetpack like stuff.
And lazer weapons...

And if you dont like the "interconnecting modules" idea, it could just be one huge station, with different areas and "no-mans-land" type areas seperating them, perhaps with a monorail like system for quick transport around....

Missions!!!!


Missions, like you get in other games.

These could be random or based on event in the world which Sony control and release when the time is right.

These could be missions which are only for:
1) Single person, outfit or squad
2) of a certain battle rank

These could be rewarded with battle experiance.
You would need a new terminal : a mission terminal.

Some new elemants could be added. AI things, like transports and players which are non-combatants, but mission objectives (Secure,Assainate or Escort)

Also, a new command rank, CR6!, which can set missions for his team (with maybe some ringers), which get excecuted at a certain tmie, allowing commands to co-ordinate attacks and command more effectivly, planing a battle stratgy before hand.
Of course, these "user-missions" would not be rewarded.

Some mission types:
Attack and destroy turrets
Sweep and clear (kill X number or enemy in a certain area)
Sabotage a base's power
Sabotage X number of terminals in an enamy base

Escort / Assasinate or Secure Official. You could have a AI character (or vechical/transport/cargo) (he he: Hamma) travaling from one point to another. Once an enamy on the continent accepts the escort and one accepts the assasinate/secure, the mission begins....

You could even have a new experiance type : Mission experiance. The more you have the more bigger dangorous missions you could take... you could become your empires special operative!

Lots of others, but cant think right now!.

I've been thinking a lot about how crappy it will be when I hit BR20 and can't soup my character up any more and I came up with this idea-- increase the limit to BR25. Now I'm sure the main reason they capped it so low is because they didn't want n00bs to get slaughtered too much by higher ranked players, so to counter that we could start off BR1 players with 5 points instead of 3 but they would then make Agile Armor cost 2 cert points.

So, the end result is that people would be able to have up to 7 more cert points to play with (if they don't mind giving up their agile), they would have the Standard Armor be used more often, and put some value into the Agile suit which really makes sense, because it is a big leg up from standard, and reinforced is still worth 3 points.

Anyways, I think that would appease both the new players cause they would have 8 points to play with once they're done their training so they would have a more sporting chance, and the seasoned players because hey-- 7 more certs would do the body good. At BR20 you can have a pretty decent character, but there isn't room for a tonne of variety in your play style which can be frustrating and also contributes to the major lack of troop transport certs being taken out on the battlefield. With 30 cert points to play with, everyone could find room for a galaxy or sunderer to help the team out.

I'd like a bigger bomber plane.
Make it like a Galaxy pilot +3 machine gunners, +1 bomber and give it a much larger capacity for guns and bombs.

i think that spitfires shouldnt be able to detect cloakers.Nerf the jackhammers refire rate, and make empire specific sniper, and special assault weopans. A amphibous vehicle with onland and water abilities.customizable vehicles. A vehicle that fires camera guided missles. A 2 or 3 man planer ith gunner slots ( like a reaver but where a gunner controls the rockets + machine gun). A tracking device where, after the device is on a person/vehcile, the person/vehicle could be seen by all friendlies where ever he went on the map. Galaxies can teleport people up from the map like a Star Trek ship. Empire specific-planes. Remote control planes and cars that can cloak and infiltrate and scout a base but has no weapons and very minimal armor. Also it can only go in like 300 feet of u or something.

They should come out with like another armor that cost 3 with the inventory size of reinforced.. 2 pistol slots.. 1 rifle slot and it has jumpjets like the VS MAX.. or they should have specialties for each empire.. i hope they do

I know it might sound retarded, but I would really like an armor with a really big carrying capacity, like the MAX capacity. Maybe they only give you a pistol and a rifle slot, but that's okay for me. Cause I can right click fast to get the object I want in my quick slots. At least that would let me carry more objects, such as Grenades, Repair kits, Med packs, ammo boxes. I'm always running out of ammo. And I have all my favorates filled up with armor/weapon/equipment types. Maybe they could increase those too. And I'll say it again, remove them damn trees from around the bases. Jesus, who on this Earth would built a base and have trees around it. that's just suicide waiting to happen. I get in a turret, and BLAM, right smack in front of it, marring my vision is a flippin' tree.

I am VERY serious about this. I think SOE should make some employees play this game as "referees" at all times.

A cert point that cost 2 or 3 thats an upgrade for a knife that 1 hits people... or make a stronger knife.. or longer one... Or.. Dual knives...I also have an obsession of using knives instead of guns its very fun. and for cloakers make a cert that costs 2 or 3 that lets u carry 2 of the same pistols at a time.. that would own everyone

They should make a submarine or something that could go from continent to continent underwater. THey'd have to make it extremely fast though, so it wouldnt take so long.

Hacker Beams. I really wish you could easily tell which hackers have no cert, the normal Hacking, or Adv. Hacking. If the REK beam itself were a different color, for example red for unskilled, yellow for Hacking, and Green for Adv. Hack, you would know right away whether to give ground to another hacker with a more advanced cert, or take over with your advanced hack when an unskilled hacker starts a long horrible CC hack. It would avoid those ridiculous situations where two hackers are on the same CC, each wondering if the other is advanced, when the lower certified hacker should be covering.

Seems like a trivially easy change that would help gameplay a notch.
