the real problem with this trailer is, that it leads new people to the outdated planetside2.com website!

somebody who knows nothing about the game and sees this trailer wants to know more about the game.... he ends up on planetside2.com and still knows little more than nothing about the game!

SOE update the ps2 website !

now to look at trailer as if I had no idea who the factions are..

Im seeing a some kind of soldier which likely represents me... man I can fly... oh ohh im just 1 man in a massive battle but look at the stuff Im doing im totally bad ass.. look away... now look back... im on a plane.... killing everyone inside.
What I do looks to affect the battle... ive reached my objective and placed a beacon sweet looks like my squad is able to drop down to me hows that for teamwork they were dependant on me completing my job so that they can achieve thiers...

It isn't small arms fire, it isn't the NC shooting, it is a TR gunner above who tries to shoot him but misses and hits the Galaxy instead and thus teamkills everyone inside. So TR kills ~14 guys in that video and not just 3-4.

It was a great looking trailer, I'm guessing it was made by the same studio that made the one for DCUO.

On a side note. If this trailers actually gets more people to join the NC or VS, great. More lambs to the slaughter, nom nom nom!

There isn't anything above the galaxy and I can see muzzle flashes.

I am just a bit disappointed, and a bit shocked by the trailer. It was good, I enjoyed watching it, but it was lacking here and there. Must be the hype.

It was great. It had splosions for CoD monkeys, planes and tanks for BF chimps, Halo type stuff for hermits and Knifing cloakers for TF2 weirdo's.....it covered all the bases.

That was like 100000 times more epic than the trailer gave out.

That said, it was really NC "favored", but I guess its hard to make a trailer that is as epic and shows everyone in equal light. I can understand why TR players could be a bit mad over this though. As an NC freedom fighter, I fucking loved this!
