God why does everyone care so much? The NC are the good guys, and the TR the bad guys. And the VS are the exotic loners, and the trailer shows exactly that.

TR will get enough troops on the fact theyre black and red, which is internet freaks favourite two badass colours.

Well since CGI trailers are basically advertising videos, why not? I have no feelings either way.

Err, since when were the TR the bad guys? Your calling Terrorists the good guys? Lets be clear here, all the factions are different shades of gray & depening on whose propoganda your willing to believe tints your view of the world.

As awesome as the trailer looks (and moreso, as awesome as it is to see SOE actually take the effort to make an A+ cinematic trailer like this for PS2

), I don't dig the script. It focuses so much on its (of course ruggedly handsome) protagonist and his completely over-the-top feats that, as was said in one earlier post, a Planetside newbie may well think this is a friggin' SINGLE PLAYER GAME, when PS2 is in fact as opposite from that as you can possibly be.

I would've much rather liked to see that epic battle from multiple POVs, cutting between guys on different classes, different vehicles - and of course different empires. You know, show the whole diversity within the epic scale of PS2, and convey that YOU, the player, could be any of those roles shown.

Nonetheless, trailer looks awesome and will certainly stir interest, which is all it needs to do.
Also, smart move to tag it with "battlefield" and the likes. The uninitiated need to be shown the light.

Agreed. Also, the people who decide on their faction based on which is depicted as most badass in a CG trailer are not the kind of people you want on you side.

Awesome trailer! I do find it a little disappointing that it is so NC focused (and I am NC myself, so no bias) But apart from that it is an awesome trailer!

Oh definitely not. I think you misunderstood or my comment wasn't clear enough. My comment was against the TR guys crying like little girls while they should have a big laugh about this movie since it ment to hate the other empires just a little bit more. I will be the last guy on earth that says woman suck in games (and even then i would be lying) since I regularly get my ass kicked by female players, and not feel ashamed to admit that.
