By god YES! I'd love the option to drag less important information and out right clutter off the main screen.

Give me the option to decide what's important.

Re: Multi-Monitor Support - NOT eyefinity

i would love this feature!

my laptop is hooked up to a beamer for the mainscreen, but the laptopdisplay would make a real good map or chatscreen.

when playing in big clusters like multisquad platoons, it is essential to have a big chatwindow, or even seperate chatwindows for squads. putting this on the mainscreen covers up too much of the action.

the dataoutput might make it possible to just use a second computer, pad or phone for some info, but i doubt, that you can get the full map with all features you have ingame. or it would be abused by spys all the time.

i really want the second monitor as a background where i can drag and drop my ui elements at will, or where i can open tactical windows like the map, vehicle windows, loadouts, playerstats, just everything i can open on my mainscreen as well.
makes the game feel more personal because everybody likes different things. some like to always have an eye on their merit/trophy progress, some want the map all the time.

I don't currently run a second monitor, but could probably scavenge an old one for such a purpose.

I would LOVE to have the tactical/over-world map on another screen.

DCS black shark made me get the eyefinity combo. Very much worth it.
Eyefinity is straying into serious tactical advantage for those with ATi cards and the cash to spend on multiple monitors, though.

I was just about to make a thread about this exact thing, definite yes! Even if it's just a permanent map it would be awesome.

I usually have my iPad open when in my computer, maybe if the live XML feeds can attach to your current game session, that would help too...

But yes to second monitor.

Star Trek Online is a fairly good example of how a game can work well with muti monitors All HUD elements are position-able. so tactical display aroudn your main screen with chat and stuff on side screens. Since everything can be positioned you can decide what stuff is important and whats not.

Medal of Honor (2010) Is a good example of great out the box multi-monitor support auto position of HUD on center screen.

and Look Nvidia have already put together something to ensure devs get it right;

I wouldn't use it but I wouldn't be against others if that's their forte
